Results - Top6 Bordeaux Blends, opening The BigBox Cafe, Cape Town

Well, that's a BIG experience the 30 tasters had on Friday with an other Top6 best Bordeaux Blends!

This is our first tasting at The Big Box Cafe (www.thebigbox.co.za), coinciding with their the re-opening at their new location, 18 Roeland Street, in Cape Town.

Many tasters stayed after the tasting to play boardgames...

Wines were accompanied by French cheeses from Ile de France (www.iledefrancecheese.com), and for many by Eric's famous crepes!!

After a strong battle, here is the ranking of this tasting:

2nd, Hermanuspietersfontein Wines "Die Arnoldus" 2012

3rd, Chamonix Wine Farm Franschhoek "Troika" 2015

4th, Darling Cellars "Sir Charles Henry" 2015

5th, Thelema Mountain Vineyards "Rabelais" 2013

6th, Hermanuspietersfontein Wines "Kleinboet" 2014
